Privacy Policy
Last updated 6 November 2026
This policy explains what information CursorLock (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit www.cursorlock.io, what we do with it, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, email us at aj@cursorlock.io.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you use one of our forms (the free mockup form, the portfolio request or the custom quote request), we collect your first and last name, business email, launch timeline, the package you’re interested in, and anything you tell us about your project. When you book a call, Calendly collects your name, email and the time you choose.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we record how visitors find and use the site: pages viewed, the website or ad that brought you here (including campaign tags and ad-click identifiers), the type of device, and approximate location derived from your IP address. We use cookies and similar technologies to do this; see “Cookies” below.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, prepare your homepage mockup, send the portfolio or quote you asked for, and run the calls you book.
- To understand which pages and marketing channels work, so we can improve the site.
- To measure our advertising. When you submit a form or book a call, we tell Google Ads that a conversion happened. To match it to an ad click, your email address is converted into a one-way hashed code before it’s sent; Google can’t read the original email from it.
We don’t sell your information, and we only email you about the enquiry you made.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the site and our business. They process information on our behalf:
- Google: Google Workspace (where form submissions are stored and emailed to us), Google Analytics, Google Ads and Google Fonts.
- Calendly: scheduling the calls you book.
- Netlify: hosting this website.
Some of these providers store data outside your country, including in the United States. Where that happens, they rely on recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Cookies
We use cookies from Google Analytics (to measure visits) and Google Ads (to measure which ads lead to enquiries), and Calendly may set cookies when its booking calendar loads.
If you visit from the UK or Europe, these analytics and advertising cookies stay off until you accept them in our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of our homepage. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a client, in which case we keep them for as long as we work together and as required by law. Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you, object to or restrict how we use it, or withdraw your consent. Email aj@cursorlock.io and we’ll respond within 30 days. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can also complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office).
For visitors in the UK and EU: we use your enquiry details because you’ve asked us to respond (steps before a possible contract) and for our legitimate interest in running and improving our business; we use analytics and advertising cookies only with your consent.
